One HealthTech (OHT) Brighton is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to promoting equality, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within the health innovation sector. As a local hub of the global One HealthTech network, we aim to foster connections among individuals passionate about healthtech, facilitating learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across existing communities and network silos.

Our Mission: Our mission is to create a supportive environment where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to drive better equality and inclusivity in health innovation. By embedding principles of diversity and inclusion into healthtech, we strive to ensure that innovations in healthcare, medicine, and life sciences benefit everyone.

Who We Are: We are a global, volunteer-led community committed to making health innovations work for everyone. Our members range from experts and professionals to hobbyists and enthusiasts, all united by a shared interest in healthtech.

What We Do:

• Community Hangouts: Regular events to connect, learn, and engage with like-minded individuals. Our hangouts have no agenda or sales pitches—just meaningful conversations over drinks.

• Support and Collaboration: We offer a platform for individuals to share ideas, discuss challenges, and collaborate on solutions to advance health innovation.

What do we mean by Healthtech and innovation?

Our definition is broad and includes anything where healthcare, medicine or life sciences intersects with technology. We would love to meet people who work in research, policy, data science, product management, software development, regulation, innovation, strategy, drug development, clinical trials, and those who work in small companies, bigger organisations, within government or the NHS. Whether you’re well established, at the beginning of your career or just flirting with the idea - everybody is welcome.
