What inspired you to pursue a career in HealthTech? 

I am passionate about using Data & AI / ML to improve patient health, care, safety and experiences Share a personal experience that showcases the importance of diversity and inclusion in the HealthTech industry. I have consistently built and managed diverse teams. Teams that accurately reflect the patient population. Diverse teams allow us to understand our diverse population and contribute different ideas and perspective that drives innovation. 

If you could wave a magic wand and advance any area or issue in HealthTech - what would it be? 

To improve patient health, predicting to prevent illnesses, and providing and simplifying digital access to health, for ALL. 

What's one piece of advice you would give to aspiring HealthTech professionals looking to make a difference in the industry? 

Share your ideas and experiences, and listen and learn from others too. I believe that the challenges that the UK health sector has currently can only be overcome by collaborating and innovating. It needs a whole community of like-minded people to make the improvements we need and to revolutionize healthcare 

What's your favourite hobby or activity that has nothing to do with your job?

Travelling around the country watching my three children play rugby, hockey, cricket, trampolining and cheer. Love it!

I've sung solos in Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, and under Concorde. And played at the Royal Albert Hall in the Last Night of the Proms
