About the Event
Ten years ago, One HealthTech began with a simple but mighty idea: that health innovation should be more open, more equitable, more inclusive, and a lot more human. Ten years later, we’re still here: still noisy, still hopeful, still building community with brilliant people across health, care, life sciences, and all things tech, data and innovation.
So we’re throwing a birthday bash!! Wahooo!
Join us for an evening of celebration, mischief, memories, cake, party hats, joyful reflection and community-flavoured chaos as we mark 10 years of One HealthTech and celebrate the many volunteer-powered communities that make this ecosystem warmer, wiser, fairer and much more fun.
This is not a stiff anniversary event (we won’t be cutting any ribbons... although now we’ve said that, maybe we should). It’s a love letter to community in all its forms: the people who gather others, open doors, build trust, share power, translate ideas into action, and keep showing up.
Together, we’ll celebrate the many ways community shapes health and innovation: creating trust, opening doors, sharing knowledge, challenging systems, and making change stick. We’ll hear from people coming at community from very different angles, with honest reflections, lively conversation, and probably the odd spicy question or two.
And because this is OHT, there will of course also be silliness: games, birthday energy, quick-fire shout-outs to some of our best-loved volunteer-powered communities, and plenty of room to mingle with old friends, new faces and community crushes.
Whether you’ve been with OHT since the early days or found us approximately five minutes ago, you are warmly, enthusiastically, confetti-cannonly welcome.
