Spend your Wednesday lunch time with us watching and discussing Dr Marzyeh Ghassemi's talk 'Improving Healthcare with Machine Learning'.

Dr. Marzyeh Ghassemi is an Assistant Professor at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Institute for Medical Engineering & Science. She gave this talk as part of the Women in Data Science conference in Stanford in 2019. 

It is a great introduction to the opportunities and challenges of using Machine Learning for Healthcare. We will watch the talk together first, and then share our thoughts on various issues raised in the talk, such as the complexity of healthcare data, and how we define being healthy - in data science.
