Olivia Stamp - Founder of Uncommon Threads

After starting her career in venture capital at world renowned Talent Investor, Entrepreneur First, Olivia Stamp went on to be an early employee at Accurx, the platform where patients and healthcare professionals communicate. During Covid, Accurx software went from being used by 50% of GPs to 98% in just 6 weeks.


Olivia stayed at Accurx for 4 years, ensuring that the organisation became and remained a trusted supplier at scale to the NHS. She then started her own consultancy business to support other health-tech startups to navigate the complexities of procurement in healthcare.


Karrie Liu - Founder of Hypatia Analytics

Karrie Liu is the founder of Hypatia Analytics, with 15 years of experience in UK healthcare and life sciences. As an analytics consultant, she specialises in driving business transformation through actionable insights.


During the COVID-19 pandemic, Karrie and her team supported NHS England by developing advanced analytics solutions. These included vaccination models and tools in Excel and Palantir that optimised healthcare operations, provided critical insights, and addressed disruptions in services such as cancer diagnosis and treatment. Karrie’s work also involved staff training and presenting impactful findings at the OR conference.

Nkem Ifejika - Presenter and producer


Presenter and producer Nkem Ifejika has over 20 years of experience in broadcast news and current affairs, and has conducted more than 10,000 interviews with political leaders, scientists, thinkers, athletes, and ordinary people in extraordinary situations.Nkem has also produced and presented podcasts for the Overseas Development Institute (Think Change) and Times Radio (World in 10). He worked at the BBC as a radio and tv reporter and presenter. Prior to the BBC, he freelanced for publications including The Guardian and the New Statesman, and as an undercover television reporter for Channel 4. Nkem currently freelances for various radio and podcast companies. He was the 2017 William Montalbano Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.


The fireside chat will be followed by speed networking.
