About the Event

Filling the gap: How charity accelerators support healthtech innovation Join us for a cosy gathering at The Walrus to explore a different kind of healthtech innovation: charity accelerators supporting startups focused on niche patient populations.

This January, OHT Brighton explores how charity-backed healthtech is reshaping who gets funded and who gets served.

Our speaker is Dr Ella Moonan-Howard, HealthTech Product Manager at Alzheimer's Society, who established their first incubator programme, Launchpad. Ella and the Innovation Team back passionate people with innovative ideas to transform the day-to-day lives of people affected by dementia. Join us to hear about the Accelerator Programme and what it takes to turn ideas into real-world solutions, followed by networking. Our Host: This event is hosted by Rose Bundock, who is leading the OHT Brighton community forward with our shared mission of promoting equity in HealthTech and ensuring health innovation works for everyone, everywhere.
