About the Event

Join this hands-on workshop to explore practical approaches to AI accountability. Participants will be introduced to the PHAWM Workbench—an online tool designed to enable individuals without specialist AI expertise to audit AI applications—and the PHAWM Methodology, a structured framework that supports organisations and communities throughout the participatory auditing process. The workshop will be led by members of the PHAWM team, a multidisciplinary research collaboration spanning six universities. Through an in-depth examination of an existing AI system, participants will assess its impacts, identify potential risks and harms, and critically reflect on the role of inclusive and diverse perspectives in the development of safe, equitable, and trustworthy AI technologies.

Laura Whyte Operations Manager for the PHAWN Project, University of Glasgow
