OHT Leeds: From Conversation to Action

Over the past year, our Digital Inclusion conversations have brought together people from across health, technology, academia, industry and the voluntary sector to explore one important question:

How do we create digital health services that work for everyone?

Together we've shared experiences of digital exclusion, explored digital literacy and poverty, highlighted inspiring examples of inclusive design and support and started developing a practical resource to help others learn from what we've discovered.

Now we'd like to bring everyone back together.

This isn't another discussion event. It's an opportunity to reflect on what happened after those conversations, celebrate the progress we've made together and sense check the resource before we share it more widely.

During the evening we'll:

• Look back at the conversations and themes that have shaped our work.

• Hear stories about the pledges people made and the ripple effects they've created.

• Share the draft ‘Just Ask’ resource and showcase the examples of good practice we've collected.

• Invite you to explore the resource and tell us whether we've got it right before we publish it.

• Discuss where we go next as a growing community committed to improving digital inclusion.

We'd love your help

Over the next couple of weeks we'll send a short questionnaire to everyone who has taken part in one of our previous events.

We're particularly interested in what happened after the event.

• Did your pledge lead to action?

• Did you make a new connection?

• Did something change in your organisation?

• Have you tried something differently?

• Has your thinking changed?

Every story matters, whether it's a small change or a significant piece of work. If you'd be willing to share your experience on the evening, we'd love to hear from you.

Together we'll celebrate what we've achieved so far and help shape what comes next.
