About the Event
These gatherings spotlight the people, products, processes, and systems that make healthtech more inclusive, accessible, and effective for everyone.
Whether you’re a seasoned expert, a curious newcomer, or somewhere in between, come along for a relaxed morning of inspiring conversations, brilliant ideas, and community connections - plus plenty of coffee and light breakfast.
In healthtech, we hear a lot about the importance of patient-centricity in product and service design. But is that always true in practice? How do we balance lived experience against clinical rigor, rigorous regulation, and the cold hard reality of commercial scalability? Can a product be too patient-focused if it fails to meet the needs of the clinicians or the organisation paying the bills? Join One HealthTech London at Hale House for a provocative breakfast panel discussion on this very topic. We’ll be debating the friction points of inclusive design and asking the tough questions:
- Where does the patient's voice sit compared to the clinician’s expertise?
- Is building for everyone from Day 1 a moral necessity or a startup’s path to burnout?
- What happens when what the patient wants clashes with what the regulator requires?
