OHT OxBrews: Meet & Mingle for health innovators

Time & Location

10 sep. 2025 17:30 – 19:30

OHT Oxford, Head of the River pub, Folly Bridge, St Aldate's, Oxford OX1 4LB, UK

About the Event

Calling all healthtech rebels, biotech dreamers, medics with a side hustle, policy plotters, regulatory wranglers, and innovators who like their networking best when it comes with a pint or a coffee.

OxBrews is One HealthTech Oxford’s brand-new bi-monthly social (yes, every other month - not twice a month!) for anyone helping to shape the future of health innovation with equity and inclusion at its core. To make it easier for everyone to join, OxBrews will rotate times and venues so we can fit around different schedules and commitments (think coffee brews in the morning and pint brews in the evenings!). Kicking off this September, we’ll be gathering by the river for relaxed conversations, good company, and the occasional game to keep things lively.

Expect

  • A big table outside (weather permitting) with something OHT-y so you can spot us (bring a jacket n all that!)

  • Unpopular Opinion: HealthTech Edition - Everyone brings one spicy/silly/serious take to throw into the mix, and we’ll debate them together

  • A natural slip into unstructured chats, new connections, and maybe even future collaborators

  • Drinks and snacks are buy-your-own, and no pressure to order if you’d rather not

Agenda

17:30–17:45 | Arrivals

Spot the OHT table, grab your drink/snack, settle in.

17:45–18:30 | Unpopular Opinions Game

Share and debate your boldest takes on healthtech (or argue someone else’s).

18:30–19:15 | Open Conversations

19:15–19:30 | Wrap-up

Swap details, finish your drinks, and wind down.

Who’s this for?

Digital health founders, medics with side projects, data folk, policy peeps, biotech builders, clinician-innovators, and anyone who thinks health innovation should be as inclusive and fun as it is impactful.

A note from OHT Oxford

We know that showing up to an event like this can feel like a big deal...walking into a space of new faces isn’t always easy. We’ll do our best to make it welcoming, light, and un-cringe, with a bit of structure to help spark conversations. Come as you are, we’d love you to join.
