This session's topic Leadership in crisis At our meet-up, we will discuss what makes a good leader, what are our experiences of good leadership, and what can we do more - either as a leader or employee - to encourage and prioritize inclusive behaviors. When you're a leader, you might often focus on:
- Have I communicated our vision correctly to the team?
- Am I applying an effective decision-making process?
- Do I display an executive presence?
But what about in a time of crisis such as the pandemic?
Crisis test tension and some emerge as a compassionate leader that can think clearly, offer reassurance and help lift people up. Others in crisis mode can fall into patterns of bias and exclusion - intentionally or unintentionally.
At our meet-up, we will discuss what makes a good leader, what are our experiences of good leadership, and what can we do more - either as a leader or employee - to encourage and prioritize inclusive behaviours.
When you register, you will receive two article links around this topic, as well as some discussion questions to get you started.
