Welcome to OHT Stockholm’s Article Club!
The aim of the Article Club is to create an informal space for everyone to share their experiences and learn from each other. Each session will focus on a chosen topic related to either health-tech, diversity and/or inclusion.
This is an opportunity to meet someone new in our community and have an informal chat about our thoughts and experiences.
It’s open to anyone interested in the chosen topic, regardless of whether you work in health-tech or not.

Mental health apps and chatbots: are they the saviour to solve the mental health epidemic? At our meet-up, let’s discuss our experience and opinions around using mental health or wellness apps, especially those powered by artificial intelligence – such as chatbots or digital assistants. What are the benefits and potential pitfalls of these technology?
A 12,000-person survey found that workers around the globe are looking for AI-powered digital assistants and chatbots to cope with mental health during the pandemic.
These apps can not only provide instantaneous help at any time, but more importantly, a judgement-free zone. In fact, the study found that 68% of respondents would prefer to talk to a robot over their manager about stress and anxiety at work, due to fear of being ostracized by their teams, or even laid off.
Can AI be a valuable resource for treating mental health problems? Are we creating more issues while solving one problem? And how does it impact psychologists?
When you register, you will receive two article links around this topic, as well as some discussion questions to get you started.
