About the Event
Our March Unprescribed Stories will be taking its first (samba) steps into the world of music, to explore what songwriting, tunes, and a boogie can teach us about healthcare, technology and the world we’re building it in.
For March, the materials for the session will be:
🎼 Our very own Lara Killlham Walter's cassette concept album, 'Zoom Me Higher' – which transcends you through someone's thoughts both before and after the failure of a procedure to unite them and their lover forever in a virtual utopia. This includes both Side A and B.
Plus...
🎼The Feathers EP, a collaborative songwriting-as-research project funded by the University of Wolverhampton, where postgraduate researchers from the Global Majority, worked with songwriters to translate lived experience, identity and emotion into original music across a three-stage process of reflection, creation and closure. There's x6 tracks on here, you can listen to them all or just a few!
