Virtual and Augmented Healthcare

The virtual reality hype cycle is truly a roller coaster with many ups and downs. This event aims to provide an update on how VR & AR have been implemented in healthcare so that you can judge for yourself if VR/AR has been effective.

We will start with an overview of the issues being addressed using VR & AR. Then we’ll move to examples of how immersive technologies have already impacted medical training and clinical practice as well as direct patient experience.

This evening will be an opportunity to learn about successes and challenges and to identify unanswered questions about VR/AR effectiveness in healthcare.
