One HealthTech Bristol is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership with Bevan Brittan LLP, a UK-Top 100 law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal and advisory services to over 300 businesses as well as being a market-leading firm within health and social care.
Bevan Brittan has a strong and long-established track record in advising health and social care providers, including two-thirds of NHS Providers and a third of NHS Commissioners and over 150 independent organisations.
Providing expert support for providers, Bevan Brittan’s teams work closely with businesses to enable them to seize strategic opportunities and navigate operational challenges (whether regulatory, legal, commercial, workforce or reputational).
The horizon for independent healthcare providers and their suppliers is crowded with challenges and opportunities and in Bristol, One HealthTech and Bevan Brittan are partnering to support events that aims for better inclusion for people of all backgrounds, skill sets and disciplines within health tech organisations and businesses.
Health technology solutions will have a fundamental role to play, whether delivered directly to consumers or as part of the supply chain to more traditional healthcare providers; however, providers of these solutions, themselves, need to ensure their products comply with regulatory standards so as to ensure patient safety and protect sensitive personal data.
Jodie Sinclair, partner and head of digital health at Bevan Brittan, said:
“Better technology knowledge and sharing of skills - in the form of devices, medicines, vaccines, procedures and systems - are important to solve increasingly complex health needs and to improve the quality of people’s lives.
“One HealthTech are pioneering innovative ways for communities to develop and share knowledge, and to ensure that diverse ideas and thinking are encouraged. We look forward to working closely with One HealthTech Bristol and supporting a range of events and initiatives.”
Helen Viatge, co-hub lead at One HealthTech Bristol, said:
“We believe innovation in health tech should be accessible to everyone, and in the power of human networks and communities to drive change, so that technology can positively impact all.
“We are therefore delighted that Bevan Brittan, which has a strong legal reputation in both the public and private health sectors, has become an active supporter of our community.”
