If you could wave a magic wand and advance any area or issue in HealthTech - what would it be?

Medical Education for healthcare professionals and the general public Healthcare professionals should be given more information and opportunities to empower them to create solutions to systematic issues in the NHS. There should be more education about medicine and public health at schools (e.g. basic life support training and media literacy around key health-related topics) to help with efforts to introduce more preventative medical solutions, creating a healthier nation and easing the burden of sickness on the NHS.

What's your favourite hobby or activity that has nothing to do with your job?

I enjoy attending tech conferences and networking with the best in their respective fields, as well as observing trends and using the newest products at the forefront of different industries.

Who are your heroes?

My mother - Her battle against a chronic disease inspired me to study medicine to find a solution to her problem, which sent me down the path I'm on now. The medical students and now doctors I studied with - Every HealthTech solution I've worked on, I've thought about how it would affect their arduous jobs. The ideal outcome is that it makes their lives easier and gives them the satisfaction of being able to improve outcomes for each of their patients.
