Get involved with One Health Tech

In their own words... (8).png

There are lots of ways to be part of OHT.

You can join the community, explore an existing community, volunteer, apply to become a Community Building Fellow, partner with us or share an example of OHT impact.

However you join, you are helping build a community that backs people, improves products and shapes better practice across health innovation.

Start wherever feels easiest. No grand entrance required. Just pick a door.

Build with us

Community doesn't build itself.

It grows because people decide to show up.

Sometimes that's organising an event. Sometimes it's welcoming someone new. Sometimes it's starting an entirely new community.

Whatever your skills or experience there are loads of ways to help shape One Health Tech.

Join the community

Best if you want to stay connected.

Sign up to the monthly newsletter, join the online community space and follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date.

This is the easiest way to hear about events, opportunities, community updates and ways to get involved.

You can be active, occasional or quietly curious. All of that counts.

Explore communities

Best if you are looking for your corner of OHT.

Find a place-based, topic or practice, identity, stage or affinity community.

You can join a community that already exists, or apply to become a Fellow and help start something new.

Have a wander. See what feels useful. Follow the interesting people.

Volunteer with OHT

Best if you want to help make things happen.

Every One HealthTech community is volunteer-led, and many are looking for people to lend a hand.

If there's a community you'd like to support, visit its community page and get in touch with the community leads. They can tell you what they're working on and where an extra pair of hands might be helpful.

You might help welcome new members, support events, share opportunities, write updates, connect people or pitch in behind the scenes. However you contribute, you'll be helping your community thrive.

The small stuff is not small. It's often what turns a good idea into a welcoming, sustainable community.

Apply to be a Fellow

Best if you want to build, lead or grow a community.

Community Building Fellows are some of the most engaged people in OHT.

They lead and shape our communities, and play an active role in deciding where OHT goes next.

The Fellowship gives you structure, peer support, practical tools and a wider community of people building alongside you.

If you are the sort of person who spots a gap and starts mentally planning a gathering, this might be your sign.

Partner with us

Best if your organisation wants to support community-powered work.

We work with values-aligned organisations that want to support inclusive communities, better conversations and more grounded ways of working across health innovation.

Partnerships can help back people too often unheard, support products that work fairly and shape better practice through ethics, co-design, collaboration and shared learning.

We like partners who are thoughtful, curious and serious about doing the work well.

Share an impact story

Best if OHT has helped you, your work or your community.

OHT’s impact often starts small: a conversation, an introduction, a confidence boost, a community, an opportunity or a piece of work that changed how people thought or acted.

If OHT has had an impact on you, your work, your community, a product, a process, a policy conversation or the wider world, we would love to hear about it.

Tiny story? Big story? Slightly odd but meaningful story? Send it over.

Not sure what to choose?

Start with joining the community.

You can sign up for the newsletter, join the online community space or follow OHT on LinkedIn.

Then, when something sparks, you can take the next step. Low pressure. High possibility.

A classic OHT combo.
