Miguel’s journey into HealthTech has been anything but conventional. He started out in finance before switching gears entirely and returning to university to study Physiotherapy just as COVID hit. Through his clinical training and work as a physiotherapist, Miguel developed a growing interest in how technology can improve healthcare, eventually leading him to conduct research in remote patient monitoring. That interest later opened the door to an opportunity with MedTech World, where he was exposed to the wider startup and venture ecosystem and gained a closer look at how innovation, investment, and healthcare come together.
