If you could wave a magic wand and advance any area or issue in HealthTech - what would it be?
If I could wave a magic wand, I would shift HealthTech from being project based to truly systemic with digital inclusion and empathy built into its foundation, not treated as afterthoughts.
For too long, we’ve seen brilliant initiatives launched as pilots or short term programmes, but they rarely translate into lasting change. Often, the people who would benefit the most are still left out whether due to access, digital literacy, cultural relevance or simply not feeling seen or understood.
I’ve been advocating for this since my time in the NHS, that digital inclusion isn’t a side conversation, it’s central to how we design, deliver and scale healthcare. The same goes for empathy. It’s not a “nice to have”, it’s what makes solutions actually work in the real world.
So if I could change one thing, it would be to embed both inclusion and empathy into the system itself, in how we design services, how we measure success and how we define innovation. For me, real impact doesn’t come from one off ideas, it comes from consistently building solutions and tools that work for everyone, not just the few.

If you were a superhero, what would your power be?
Intention reading (kind of like mind reading but purely intentions!) The ability to instantly sense what people and situations are truly driven by.
Do you want to tell us any fun facts about yourself? Or do you have any hidden skills?
Outside of work, I’m really drawn to a mix of spirituality and natural wellbeing practices. I have a deep interest in Sufi mysticism and reflective ideas around energy, meaning, and connection.
A fun fact about me also is that I practice lucid dreaming and have a strong interest in dream awareness. I find it fascinating how the mind can become conscious within dreams and I use them as a space for reflection and creativity. I’ve also had moments of what I would describe as very vivid, immersive dream experiences that I’ve learned to explore and work with over time.
Alongside this, I love creating natural skincare and self-care rituals, as well as making herbal remedies like teas. It’s something I find both calming and creative, and it connects me to more intentional, grounded ways of living.
