Hub group hug in a pub - July edition

You asked – we listened! We did it!

Last month OHT-LDN held a hug-in-a-pub 🫂 A fantastically friendly and enthusiastic group came to one of the busiest pubs in Soho on the busiest Thursday of the year for this popular meet-up!

Never say we make it easy and we hope all ears and voices remained intact.

We CAN report that there were some actual hugs and some virtual ones. The conversations continue in our OHT-LDN LinkedIn Group.

Kicking off at 6 pm, the marathon really got going at 8 pm. Special shout out to Bing for optimal meet-up behaviour—dropping in at the beginning, en route to a Biocomputation event, and on the way home. Another shout-out goes to Himmi, our super connector of the night. She embraced the “invite everyone you know” ethos, and they came.

We had an awesome mix of clinicians/GPs, academic researchers, industry pros, and data scientists. Chats focused on career transitions, especially how clinical roles are getting more involved in digital health and tips to make those shifts smoother.

Career change… hmmm? Whether it’s something you need to do or want to do, it was a big topic. And guess what?
